Monday and Saturday, there are two classes run by Mizue, which are ”Power Yoga" and "Yoga Stretch". Power Yoga, as its names reads, is poweful yoga class with some challenging poses and speedy movement. In summer, you might think "Is it hot yoga?"
"Yoga Stretch" is for beginners which offers relaxing and soft poses.
But when an experienced student happened to join, she said she sweat much more than she thought.
Mizue says it is because of deep breathing. When you move slower, you can easily concentrate on your breathing, delivering power to the edge of your body and warming you up from inside. Slow breathing shuts your unnecessary thoughts and relaxes you too. If you are already familiar with yoga poses and breathing method, you can warm you up much easier.
"Yoga Stretch" contains a lot of stretching poses resulting in smoother blood flow.
If you are nervous, deep breathing will calm you down. But when you feel cold, it also works, even though only for a short period of time. It is precious time same as relaxing tea time.
